Bio
Brinstan has been playing the Violin since the age of 9 and holds the ATCL Diploma(Associate Trinity College London).
He has been an active orchestral musician, joining the Bombay Chamber Orchestra in Mumbai at the age of 16, where he performed on both violin and viola. After moving to New Zealand, he became a member of the Trust Waikato Symphony Orchestra (TWSO) and Hamilton City Pops Orchestra, performing from 2017 to 2026. In June 2026, he relocated to Melbourne, Australia, and has since joined the Casey Philharmonic Orchestra, already performing in his first concert with the orchestra.
He has been teaching music since 2012, guiding students through Trinity College London examinations with consistent success. His professional experience includes working with a range of schools and educational projects, teaching students from ages 3 through 70. He is a trained and registered Suzuki teacher and brings a strong foundation in the Suzuki philosophy to his teaching practice.
Teaching Info
I have a simple yet effective teaching method, which makes it easy for beginners especially kids. I use the Suzuki method for tutoring beginners, but might alter as the student progresses. I prepare students for Trinity College Exams from grade 1-8. I also train students for ensemble performance.
