Bio

Taiwanese pianist Winnie Chih-Wei Kuo is recognised for her profound commitment to the art of classical music. This dedication has been sustained and deepened throughout her musical and scholarly pursuits. She holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in piano performance, having studied with Professor Thomas Linde and Professor Jerry Wong, respectively. She is currently in the final stage of her PhD candidature at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music.

With over ten years of teaching experience, Winnie is a committed educator who has guided numerous students through their examinations, many achieving outstanding results, including High Distinction and Honours. From 2023 to June 2025, she served as Piano Instrumental Tutor at Mount Scopus Memorial College, and has since been appointed to the same position at Geelong Grammar School – Toorak Campus, where she continues to cultivate the next generation of musicians.
