Bio

With nearly 20 years playing experience and having taught in both private and teaching school settings, Andrew is a friendly, methodical, and fun drum and music theory teacher.

Andrew has played drums/percussion in a variety of rock, funk, jazz, symphonic, folk, and metal bands for over 15 years. He has also been utilised as a session musician for live performances.

His knowledge of music theory has been helpful in composing his own songs, which he has performed in Melbourne venues in the last 4 years.

Teaching Info

With live guitar, drum, and vocal experience, and an extensive knowledge of music theory, Andrew uses a holistic approach to learning. Alternatively, lessons can focus on improving exclusively drum skills or music theory knowledge. The main goal is satisfaction and fun. That’s what music is all about!
