Turfboer Music is a teaching business run by Tyler Turfboer.

Tyler has been teaching music for 6 years + . He’s had extensive experience playing music. Tyler completed VCE Music in High School and continued on to study at Victoria University where he completed a Bachelor of Music undergraduate degree. Tyler has gigged extensively throughout Melbourne and has released and recorded music  across multiple bands/projects and instruments.

Tyler’s Students describe him as “insightful” and “fun”. He makes music accessible and enjoyable to students of all ages and levels.

Turfboer music is about helping people reach whatever ambitions they have within music, whether that’s Becoming a professional, Passing AMEB exams or simply just to learn how to play some songs, Turfboer music can help you!

Tyler is predominantly A Guitar and Bass instructor, teaching across a range of different genres such as metal, Jazz, folk and more.

Tyler has taught at many schools such as Alla music, Music Journey, Trill music, Kidko, Koo Wee Rup Secondary College and many more.
