Bio

Servicing the Northern suburbs and with full teachers registration and police check,  (Victorian Institute of Teaching) you can be assured I will deliver an outstanding and professional experience for your child, with nurtured fun and weekly objectives to ensure progress. I have taught privately and in school settings for over 30 years with a love and passion for igniting hearts young and old. Have freelanced with Australian Pops, MSO, MELB Theatre company, volunteered for disadvantaged school programmes, Syrian refugees project, and performing arts communities across Melbourne.
Skills taught encompass  rhythm and note reading and a fun relaxed approach for those who would like to learn in a sequential and structured style to gain independence. Students and adults welcome.

Teaching Info

Initially with a tutor book, Students are guided through the rudiments of music and can expect a high standard being taught. I incorporate good posture, bow hold, note reading with a mix of technique and repertoire and use a combination of fun pieces and exercises. The tailored design will be according to each students set of skills and goals. I If you have a keyboard, I can also provide piano accompaniment.

With a high retention over many years, students can expect an engaging and fun style with a mix of meaningful and engaging techniques to facilitate a performance for family and friends or preparation for   a music exam or competitions.
