Bio

Aysegul Akkaya is a professional violinist and dedicated violin teacher based in Melbourne. She holds a Master’s Degree in Violin Performance from Istanbul Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University and a Bachelor’s Degree from Istanbul University State Conservatory. She has extensive orchestral experience, performing with ensembles including symphony orchestras, chamber orchestras, opera, and theatre productions across Australia and internationally.

As an educator, Aysegul teaches students of all levels, with a special focus on school-aged learners, VCE students, and aspiring conservatorium musicians. Her teaching approach combines strong technical foundations with musical expression, tailored to each student’s individual goals—whether for exams, auditions, or professional development.

She currently offers private violin lessons from her home studio in Melbourne, helping students build confidence, discipline, and a lifelong connection to music.
