Bio

I am a professional viola player, working as a freelance player with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra as well as other smaller groups.  I have always taught alongside my playing, and believe that my high level of performance gives me much to offer as a teacher.

Teaching Info

I would describe my teaching style as friendly and relaxed, while at the same time being firm about establishing good technique and practice routines. I believe in giving students the tools to critique and solve problems themselves.  I like to tailor what the student is learning to their particular musical tastes; happy to guide students through exams, or to help them progress just for fun!  I am comfortable teaching both children and adults.
