Hello and welcome!
My name is Elizabeth and I have completed a Bachelor of Music, specialising in classical voice. I have been singing for over 20 years and am well versed in the intricacies of vocal anatomy and pedagogy. I can also teach proper pronunciation for Italian, German, and French pieces.
My lessons aim to focus on utilising the voice in a way that is safe and expressive. I emphasise the importance of vocal support, breath control, vocal flexibility, projection, and placement.
It is imperative to me to maintain an environment that is creative, safe, and inclusive for my students. My priority is structuring our lessons around your needs, goals, and vocal abilities. Whether you want to extend your range, increase your stamina or be able to sing in a different style, I am happy to help.
I have a current Working With Children’s Check and am able to teach ages 8+
Teaching Info
Our lessons will be tailored according to what your goals and abilities are. I will pick specific exercises/warm-ups to suit your voice type and assist your vocal development. You are free to choose any songs you wish to work on – I can also offer a myriad of suggestions depending on your vocal type/abilities.
I teach all sorts of classical styles, including opera, art song, and oratorio. I have a broad library encompassing several languages, so am able to assist you with pieces if you are a new singer/unsure what you should be working on.
