Naarm/Melbourne based drummer who has toured internationally and currently drums for Ricewine & Sascha Müller!
I studied Jazz and Improvisation at Victorian College Of The Arts and have an open-minded approach to music making and lessons.
Teaching Info
Working on playing balanced & even patterns with exercises developed by myself and from the book ‘Syncopation For The Modern Drummer.’
Also working from other useful books such as John Riley ‘The Art of Bop Drumming’ and AMEB exam texts.
I also like to involve improvisation in our lessons and call and response games where the student plays what they hear, a more natural and listening based way of learning.
