Bio
I’m a Melbourne-Based freelancer and teacher currently studying at the Australian National Academy of Music (ANAM) with Yoram Levy and David Elton. I am also a Principal Trumpet of Orchestra Wellington in New Zealand, a position I won in 2023 whilst finishing my Bachelor of Music at Te Kōkī New Zealand School of Music (NZSM).
I have had the opportunity to play with orchestras and ensembles throughout Australasia, including the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, West Australian Symphony Orchestra, Auckland Philharmonia, Christchurch Symphony Orchestra, Wellington Brass Band (with whom I won the New Zealand A Grade title in 2021-2023), and the NZSO National Youth Orchestra of New Zealand for 5 years, appointed principal in 2023.
This extensive experience has allowed me to learn best practices for performing and achieving at a high level, and my broad range of musical interests from avant-garde jazz to baroque will help me cater a lesson plan to best suit your needs and achieve your goals.
I’m able to teach trumpet/flugelhorn/cornet in any genre, and would love to help you on your journey into the upper brass world!

I’m a teacher eager to adapt to how you learn, I value setting specific goals to create a journey where you know you’re progressing, but I always strive to make lessons fun for the both of us! I’m happy to work with students of all ages and abilities, always making sure you feel comfortable, whilst also pushing you to be the best player you can be.
