Bio

Luca Brading is an in-demand recording artist and live saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist and producer.

He studied at the University of Melbourne where he developed his roots in Jazz and Improvisation, but draws his musical influence from a range of styles from Funk and RnB to 80s Pop and Rock.

Luca has spent a number of years teaching both privately and in schools to a wide range of ages and skill levels across Saxophone, Guitar and Music Theory.

Luca’s teaching style takes a wholistic approach towards musicianship through mastering fundamental skills and knowledge, providing students with the confidence to write, perform and improvise.

His lessons cover a variety of topics including:

Saxophone technique and tone

Playing over jazz standards/chord changes

Transcribing, memorising and notating music by ear

Developing aural skills and relative pitch

Harmonic and rhythmic theory

Reading music notation

Song and ensemble arrangement
