Bio
Mitch is an experienced freelance musician with a demonstrated history of working in the music industry. He is a graduate of ARA Institute of Canterbury – Bachelor of Music Arts, Jazz Performance – Drum Set.
He has been a professional musician and passionate educator for 13 years, lecturing 100’s of students at tertiary, secondary and primary school levels. He specialises in teaching drum-set and percussion, coaching ensembles, music theory, reading and writing as well as transcription.
As a performer he has worked professionally in theatre, orchestra, corporate, festivals, touring and original music projects. He has recorded music in studio, live and live video performance settings.

I’ve taught 100’s of students from professionals to beginners. I make sure that I take time to understand what my students ambitions, goals and dreams are. Once I have an idea of what you what to achieve i’ll make a plan and coach you through a meaningful musical journey.
