Singing Lessons | Artist development
Bio
My background – I have worked in jazz duos, trios, ensembles and also as a back-up singer for a very successful Mo-town covers band and also a high calibre solo folk/soul musician, and I also once upon a time had a successful sister duo, including performing in the Auckland Arts Festival.
Although I’ve always been able to sing, I never started to get lessons until I was an adult, and it was only then that I began to develop my passagio/bridge. The benefit of this is that I can now guide others through this process, knowing what it takes to make your bridge notes from weak (mine were very weak), to very strong and conditioned. Through all of my self-exploration and a couple of great teachers I found my voice, and this is now what I help others do.
My intention is to provide you the clarification you may have been missing from previous training experiences, or to simply start you off on the right track, knowing what to expect and how to navigate your own unique singing journey in a fun, non-judgemental space for vocal play. Lets go 🙂
I offer lessons online as well as in-person.
