Bio
I am a Melbourne-based pianist and teacher currently completing my Masters of Performance Teaching at the University of Melbourne. I have been teaching students and have extensive experience in education through working at multiple reputable music studios across Melbourne.
I have over 15 years of experience, having started piano at a very young age and enjoy both solo and chamber works. I completed my AMEB Certificate of Performance with Honours in 2018 and AMEB Grade 5 Theory with Honours in 2019. I have had the privilege of participating in the Singapore International Music festival and placed Silver. In 2019, I was a finalist in the Conero International Music Competition.
The broad experience i’ve had in my education and performance opportunities provides me with a wealth of knowledge i am excited to share with my students. My aim is to inspire and cultivate in my students both the passion and ability to explore everything that they can do with wonderful instrument.
Teaching Info
My philosophy in teaching is student-focused. Music learning is a collaborative effort, and I endeavour to set goals that the student and I both agree upon.
I aim to make lessons a fun and supportive space, with my home-studio being a safe space for my students to explore whatever avenue interests them musically.
I am experienced in preparing students for AMEB, but am open to students of all ages and levels- not having exams in mind is completely okay as well !
I am available to teach from home, or travel to you within the Monash area
