Teaching Info
Music Teaching
I taught more than 60 students in the past 10 years. I take students from preliminary to advanced standards and can help students prepare for AMEB and ABRSM exams. I enjoy passing on my musical knowledge and sharing my enthusiasm in music to my students.
Lessons can be taught in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Music Therapy Service
I offer music therapy service to children with neurodivergent needs and developmental delays, people with dementia. I use music-based interventions such as music improvisation, musical play, music listening and singing to support individual’s cognitive functioning, as well as their mental, social, physical, spiritual and emotional wellbeing.
Music therapy is different from music lessons or entertainment, as it focuses on improving health, functioning and wellbeing. It involves understanding individual’s needs and music preferences and working towards identified goals. Musical skills or knowledge is not required for individual to receive music therapy.
